Context

In recent years the importance of having a presence on social medias has been made more and more prominent. And this is applied to any type of sector. In that context, our client Mirabaud, a private bank based in Geneva, contacted us. 

The challenge was interesting: in addition to launching the bank's communication on Instagram, our mission was to cover the communication (Instagram) of the Bol d'Or, a historical sailing race on Lake Geneva in Switzerland. 

It was with great success that our Marvelous team took up the challenge and managed to consolidate our client's presence on Instagram.

The main objectives were:

1. Understand the positioning of the client in the banking and finance industry.

2. Define Instagram's role in the global digital ecosystem.

3. Define a medium-term & long-term strategy, integrating a solid visual approach to ensure brand consistency

4. Execute the defined strategy and optimize it over the years, and this since 2018!

Our approach

We set up a team dedicated to the project. The main tasks consisted of outlining the strategy, the needs, the constraints and defining the leverage points.

When it comes to communication on social networks, our team of Digital Marketing Managers and Graphic / Media Designers carries out benchmarking of the sector in question, proceeds with creative sprints which help define the creative & visual space and optimizes the overall strategy over time.

Results

Our contribution has made it possible to consolidate our client's presence on Instagram, to contribute to their audience growth and above all, to position the social media account as one with high added value. Indeed, the communication axes defined aimed at bringing value to the followers and this is clearly represented in the account statistics (confidential).
