Les Bains de Lavey: Complete modernisation of the website

A redesigned platform to simplify booking, purchasing and care.

Contexte

As part of our renewal and modernisation programme, we have completely redesigned the Les Bains de Lavey website, integrating a number of third-party tools. 

The complex brings together five main services within a complex centre, each with its own specific features: the thermal baths, the Hôtel des Bains, the wellness area, catering, events and seminars, as well as the medical aspect of Lavey.

This project involved several stakeholders, including the IT team, the external agency responsible for redesigning the graphic charter, and various third-party services for managing conversions.

Project objectives

Since the first analyses of customer needs and the development of the Lavey website, several objectives have been defined to improve the user experience, strengthen the online presence and have a website that meets visitors' expectations. 

  • Modernise and personalise the graphics: Reflect the unique identity of each service (thermal baths, Hôtel des Bains, wellness area, restaurants, events and seminars, medical services) through specific colour variations.
  • Improving the user experience (UX): Designing an intuitive interface with simplified navigation, enabling visitors to quickly find the information they are looking for and easily convert into customers.
  • Efficient integration of third-party tools: Incorporate iframes for booking access, purchasing treatments and stays, and managing events, to provide a seamless experience without redirects to external sites.
  • SEO optimisation: Rethinking the content structure and integrating relevant keywords to improve the site's visibility on search engines, thereby increasing organic traffic and online awareness.
  • Increased visitor conversion: Analysing user paths and rethinking navigation to make it easier to convert visitors into customers, by simplifying the online booking and purchasing process.

Our approach

Workshops were held to identify the customer's specific needs and to optimise user paths for enhanced engagement. A logical sitemap was designed to guide users.

Working with the branding agency, we ensured visual consistency with the brand identity. UI mock-ups were developed in line with user needs and graphic guidelines.

During development, we ensured optimal performance, SEO best practice and seamless integration of third-party tools, while guaranteeing the site's scalability.

Content was restructured with keyword integration to improve SEO.

Throughout the project, constant communication ensured smooth coordination and validation of a website aligned with customer and visitor expectations.

Website results

Users benefit from simplified navigation, making it easier to access information and meet their online needs.

Administrators have access to modules enabling them to design specific new pages, making the site and its content more dynamic.


The improvements help to convert visitors into customers, strengthening the online presence and competitiveness of Les Bains de Lavey.

The overall health of the site has risen from 62% to 85%, mobile performance has more than doubled, and no fewer than 22,486 technical SEO issues have been resolved
